On April 6, 2017, Partner Alison I. Stein will participate in a roundtable discussion on the work-life challengeswomen face in the legal industry.  Drawing from their personal experience as both mothers and legal professionals, Ms. Stein and the other panelists will discuss ways women can balance their professional and personal lives.  Topics include making partner at work while also juggling a home life and how to thrive outside the firm.  Presented by the American Bar Association Litigation Section’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the roundtable will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 pm EST and is available to ABA members. 

Ms. Stein is a litigator in the firm's Content, Media & Entertainment group.  She focuses her practice on matters involving content protection, copyright infringement, copyright terminations, trademark enforcement, trade secrets, unfair competition, defamation, privacy, licensing negotiations and contractual disputes.  In 2004, Ms. Stein founded the Younger Women’s Task Force,a national organization dedicated to providing younger women with a voice in the policy-making process; she currently serves on its advisory board as part of the American Association of University Women.  Ms. Stein has published multiple articles about issues related to women and the workplace and has worked internationally on women’s issues and other development issues in Haiti, Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda.
