On February 25, 2017, Partner Michael W. Ross and Associate Gretchen O. Stertz presented at a CLE program at New York Law School titled “Pro Bono Perspectives: Best Practices for Matters Serving the Public Good, Wherever You Work.”  The CLE assembled a panel of lawyers, moderated by Mr. Ross, to examine issues that arise in pro bono practice, including conflicts and ethics issues, document retention, “low bono” legal service, mentoring by referral organizations, and other issues.  The panel was comprised of lawyers from big and small law firms, as well as lawyers from non-profit organizations focused on impact litigation and direct services.  The session was part of Lawline’s day-long Bridge the Gap program, focusing on topics relevant to all lawyers across all specialties and practices.
