Jenner & Block Partners Gina Reif Ilardi and Benjamin R. Mulcahy will present a webinar that will explore so-called “ambush” marketing campaigns.  Titled “Ambush Marketing & Made In The USA,” the program will inform lawyers about the risks and opportunities associated with ambush marketing campaigns and how to comply with federal and state regulations surrounding the use of “Made In the USA” claims.  The webinar will address case law surrounding the use of sports statistics, schedules and colors and federal and state regulations regarding the use of “Made In the USA.”  Presented by the Brand Activation Association, the webinar will be held at 1 pm Eastern on August 9, 2016.

Ms. Ilardi is a partner in the Content, Media & Entertainment Practice.  Ms. Ilardi counsels motion picture and television studios, major brands, prominent website operators, cable, broadcast and out-of-home networks and advertising and marketing agencies. She advises clients on the collection, storage, sharing (including cross-border sharing and transfer) and use of personal information and other data.

Mr. Mulcahy is a partner in the Content, Media & Entertainment Practice and co-chair of the Trademark, Advertising and Unfair Competition Practice.  He represents major film studios, broadcast and cable television networks, retailers, consumer brands and their advertising agencies in all aspects of sports marketing, entertainment marketing and interactive marketing as well as in innovative branded entertainment and e-commerce initiatives.
