Jenner & Block Partner Craig C. Martin will speak at the 22nd Annual Stanford Directors’ College on the topic of “When Disaster Strikes.” The college is an executive education program for directors and senior executives of publicly traded firms. Mr. Martin and other speakers will discuss the process of creating a game plan for reacting to sudden, potentially existential crisis. This includes offering realistic crisis scenarios based on real-world situations to help directors develop practical guidelines that can be applied to their companies. The college will be held from June 19-21, 2016, at Stanford Law School; Mr. Martin’s panel will be held on June 21, 2016.
Mr. Martin is a partner and chair of the firm’s Litigation Department. Mr. Martin represents Fortune 500 companies and wealthy families in complex commercial litigation across the United States in both state and federal courts. He also counsels corporate clients on a variety of sensitive and complicated matters, including internal investigations, unfair competition, antitrust, trade secrets, employee benefits, reductions-in-force, insurance coverage, employment discrimination and harassment, shareholder rights, securities, technology exchanges, joint ventures and distributor relationships.
