Jenner & Block Associate Alexander J. Bandza spoke to a group of University of Chicago Law School students on May 2, 2016, as a panelist in a program titled “Out in OCI,” which was sponsored by OutLaw, the law school’s LGBT student organization. Speakers discussed approaches to interviewing and presented other advice to LGBT students going through the on-campus interviewing process. Among topics covered were resumes, interviews, and discerning between law firms.
Mr. Bandza, an associate in the Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practice, focuses his practice on environmental litigation and counseling. In addition to his private practice, he has an active pro bono practice, chairs the Constitutional Law Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources and is a board member of Young Professionals in Energy (Chicago). Mr. Bandza also serves on the firm’s Associate Board of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
