“Litigation Forum: Contract Drafting - Lessons Learned From Litigation,” Association of Corporate Counsel

Jenner & Block Partner Jerome L. Epstein presented a program to 150 members of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s National Capital Region.  Titled “Litigation Forum: Contract Drafting - Lessons Learned From Litigation,” the presentation focused on frequently litigated contract clauses -- such as disclaimers of reliance, limitations of liability, and best efforts standards -- and provided practical drafting and litigation tips to lessen the risk of expensive, high-risk, breach-of-contract and fraud litigation.  The program was held on May 3, 2016, at the firm’s Washington, DC office.  Mr. Epstein was joined by Dave Bell, VP and senior counsel with Marriott International, Inc.

Mr. Epstein is a co-chair of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice and has been recognized by Legal Times as one of the 10 Leading Business Litigation Lawyers in Washington, DC.  Businesses seek his representation in a wide variety of lawsuits and arbitration proceedings involving complex commercial transactions.
