“Intellectual Property in the Supreme Court,” The Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies

Jenner & Block Partner Matthew S. Hellman will speak during a teleforum sponsored by The Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies.  Titled “Intellectual Property in the Supreme Court,” the program will explore the recent trend of the Court hearing cases that will determine important intellectual property rights.  Mr. Hellman will offer  his insight on  the pending cases and what they might mean for IP rights and the economy going forward.  Among the cases to be discussed is this Term’s Kirtsaeng v. John Wiley & Sons, Inc., in which Jenner & Block represents John Wiley.  The teleforum starts at 2 pm Eastern Time on April 8, 2016.

Mr. Hellman is a litigator who has contributed to several cases tried before the United States Supreme Court and presented numerous arguments in the Courts of Appeals and trial courts.  His cases involve a variety of issues such as intellectual property, commercial law, and civil liberties.
