Jenner & Block Partner Reid J. Schar spoke during a roundtable discussion at an Advisory Committee on Evidence Rules Symposium on Hearsay Reform hosted by the John Marshall Law School.  Mr. Schar and other panelists discussed the effect of an expanded residual exception on litigation practice.  The symposium was held on October 9 , 2015, at the John Marshall Law School.

Mr. Schar is co-chair of the White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice.  A former assistant US attorney, he tried more than 20 criminal cases, many involving sophisticated fraud and financing issues.  Clients regularly turn to Mr. Schar with their most significant white collar matters and investigations as well as complex commercial litigation matters.
