Jenner & Block Partner Andrew F. Merrick and Associate Alan J. Iverson spoke at a meeting of the Chicago Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.  Titled “How to Become an Arbitrator,” their presentation outlined the application processes of Chicago-based arbitration programs and nationwide arbitration associations.  The Committee promotes and educates Chicago lawyers on issues relating to alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.  Mr. Merrick is vice chairman of the Committee, and Mr. Iverson serves as the Committee’s legislative liaison.  The presentation was held from 12:15-1:30 pm on December 3, 2015, at the CBA, 321 S. Plymouth Court.

Mr. Merrick is a partner in the Litigation Department and Complex Commercial Litigation Practice, as well as a member of its Class Action and International Arbitration Practices.  He represents corporations and individuals in a variety of complex commercial litigation disputes in state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution forums across the United States and abroad. 

Mr. Iverson is an associate in the Litigation Department.  He received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2014, graduating cum laude.
