“The Strategy of District Court Litigation vs. IPR in View of Recent Appellate Decisions,” IP Strategy Summit

Jenner & Block Partners Reginald J. Hill and Sara Tonnies Horton  will lead discussion at an interactive roundtable during the IP Strategy Summit.  Their session is titled “The Strategy of District Court Litigation vs. IPR in View of Recent Appellate Decisions.”  Roundtables are informal, 20 minute discussions that provide an opportunity to exchange professional insights with peer-level IP practitioners.   The summit will be held on October 13, 2015, at Swissotel Chicago. 

Mr. Hill focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling.  Corporations seek his help with a variety of matters including patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets, particularly related to technology.  He has served as lead counsel in bench and jury trials, PTAB trials, Markman hearings and arbitrations. 

Ms. Horton concentrates in complex civil litigation focusing on patent litigation.  She has significant trial experience and has litigated patent infringement cases concerning pharmaceuticals, polymers, food technology, alloys, electronics and farming technology.
