“Protecting Your Client’s Confidential Information: ESI, Privilege, and FRE 502,” American Bar Association Center for Professional Responsibility 41st Annual National Conference

Jenner & Block Partner David M. Greenwald  will speak at the American Bar Association Center for Professional Responsibility Annual Conference on Friday, May 29, 2015, the second day of the two-day conference.  His session, titled “Recent Developments, Confidentiality: ESI, Privilege, and FRE 502,” will explain how practitioners may use Federal Rule of Evidence 502, and FRE 502(d) in particular, to protect against inadvertent waiver of the attorney-client privilege and the work product protection, and to limit the scope of waiver when voluntarily producing privileged material in a federal proceeding.  Mr. Greenwald’s session will take place from 9-10:20 a.m. at the Westin Hotel in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Greenwald is a tested trial lawyer with more than 29 years of commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, and domestic and international internal investigation experience relating to a wide variety of substantive areas and across a broad spectrum of industries.  He speaks and writes regularly on issues relating to e-discovery, ethics, the attorney-client privilege and the work product doctrine.
