“Mergers & Acquisitions Due Diligence For ERISA Attorneys: A Case Study,” American Bar Association

Jenner & Block Partner Matthew J. Renaud is co-chair of the American Bar Association’s program “Mergers & Acquisitions Due Diligence For ERISA Attorneys: A Case Study.”  The event will take place on June 23, 2015, and will offer a practical hands-on, one-day seminar on how to conduct due diligence on employee benefits and executive compensation in mergers and acquisitions transactions involving both US and international operations.  The faculty will also discuss how to balance the demands of internal management, benefit consultants and outside counsel.  The seminar will be limited to 15 participants to allow for interaction between the faculty and participants.  The program will be held at the ABA, 321 N. Clark St, Chicago.

Mr. Renaud is chair of the firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice, a member of the Private Equity/Investment Management Practice and he frequently works with the firm’s ERISA Litigation Practice.  Mr. Renaud regularly counsels clients on a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters, with a focus on public company executive compensation and ERISA fiduciary responsibility issues, including investment of plan assets.  Mr. Renaud is a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and an adjunct professor at the Northwestern University School of Law, teaching ERISA and Employee Benefits Law.
