“Insider Threats & Monitoring: Privacy, Civil Liberties & Wiretap Issues,” Georgetown Law Continuing Legal Education

Jenner & Block Partner Mary Ellen Callahan moderated a program that explored privacy, civil liberties and wiretap issues.  Titled “Insider Threats & Monitoring: Privacy, Civil Liberties & Wiretap Issues,” the program focused on, among other topics, technical, legal, privacy, and behavior challenges; network security monitoring; and the Stored Communications Act.  The event was a program of Georgetown Law Continuing Legal Education.  It was held on May 20, 2015.

Ms. Callahan is the founder and chair of the firm’s Privacy and Information Governance Practice.  The former chief privacy officer of the United States Department of Homeland Security, she has a unique and broad knowledge of and experience with the interface of the protection of privacy, civil rights and civil liberties with cybersecurity and national security issues.
