“Is There a Need to Change the Local Patent Rules?” The Federal Circuit Bar Association

Jenner & Block Partner Bradford P. Lyerla will moderate a panel discussion during The Federal Circuit’s 2015 Advanced Complex Litigation Series.  The Series is titled “Case Management of Patent Cases under the Amended Federal Rules.”   Mr. Lyerla’s panel, titled “Is There a Need to Change the Local Patent Rules?” will feature the Hon. Matthew F. Kennelly, of the Northern District of Illinois; Phillip D. Segrest, Jr., of Husch Blackwell LLP; and Joseph N. Hosteny, III, of Niro, Haller & Niro.  The Series will be held May 15, 2015, at the Everett McKinley Dirksen United States Courthouse, 219 S. Dearborn St., Chicago. 

Mr. Lyerla is the co-chair of the firm’s Patent Litigation and Counseling Practice.  His numerous trials have involved technologies, including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, computing, software, chemicals, food science, telecommunications and consumer goods.
