“Cloud Computing 2015: Key Issues and Practical Guidance,” Practising Law Institute

Jenner & Block Partner Mary Ellen Callahan will speak at Practising Law Institute’s “Cloud Computing 2015: Key Issues and Practical Guidance” conference on Monday, May 11, 2015, in New York.  Ms. Callahan’s presentation, titled “Privacy,” will take place at 11 a.m. (EST). She will examine topics of privacy, including how to address privacy in the cloud; service provider restrictions; rights of individual data subjects; big data and its relation to the cloud; and more.  The firm is a Privileged Member of PLI with unlimited access to PLI’s live programs and webcasts at no cost. 

Ms. Callahan is the founder and chair of the firm’s Privacy and Information Governance Practice.  The former chief privacy officer of the United States Department of Homeland Security, she has a unique and broad knowledge of and experience with the interface of the protection of privacy, civil rights and civil liberties with cybersecurity and national security issues.
