Jenner & Block Associate Alexander J. May spoke at a Chicago Bar Association Securities Committee event covering the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Mr. May discussed recent Congressional responses to the Dodd-Frank Act, the status of current rulemakings by the SEC and other federal agencies and what public companies should expect from the SEC regarding Dodd-Frank rules in 2015 and beyond. The program was held on April 16, 2015 at the CBA offices.
Mr. May is a member of the firm’s Corporate, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity/Investment Funds and Securities Practices. He concentrates on Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 reporting and compliance for public company clients and also has significant experience advising these clients on emerging regulations under the Dodd-Frank Act.
