Jenner & Block Partner Gabrielle Sigel spoke at the 14th Annual Environmental Law Conference presented by the Illinois State Bar Association Environmental Law Section. Titled “Leading Cases in Air Law,” Ms. Sigel’s session focused on the issues of the role and deference to the US Environmental Protection Agency in a variety of Clean Air Act cases, including those involving greenhouse gas regulation. Her session was held on April 2, 2015, the second day of the two-day conference held at the IIT Chicago Kent College of Law.
Ms. Sigel is co-chair of the Climate and Clean Technology Law Practice and a founding member of the Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practice. She publishes extensively and is a frequent speaker on environmental law, climate change, and workplace health and safety issues.
