Jenner & Block Partner John R. Storino will speak at the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s 4th Annual Real Estate Short Course, to be held February 12-13 at the Hilton Hotel in Lisle, Illinois.
The short course is a networking and learning opportunity designed for Illinois real estate attorneys and will feature topics such as a case law and statutory update; the latest on modern forms of holding title; an examination of ethics and the roles of the attorney in real estate transactions; and guidance in dealing with multi-jurisdictional issues in real estate transactions.
The two day event will include twenty-three breakout sessions, each focusing on a cutting edge issue within the industry. On February 12, Mr. Storino will speak at a session titled, “Litigation Issues: The Remedies,” where he will discuss remedies in various actions including warranty fraud, trespass ejectment, partition, as well as the impact of Moorman doctrine have on real estate litigation.
Mr. Storino is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department and its Construction Law, Professional Liability Litigation, Products Liability and Mass Tort Defense, and Insurance Litigation and Counseling Practices.
