“Key Issues in Government Contracts Mergers & Acquisitions,” Federal Publications Seminars

Jenner & Block Partners Peter H. Rosenbaum and Damien C. Specht presented a webinar for Federal Publications Seminars.  Titled “Key Issues in Government Contracts Mergers & Acquisitions,” the program addressed issues ranging from compliance traps and selection of deal structure, to socio-economic preferences, novation and clearances.  Damien and Pater also discussed how sellers should prepare for a transaction and how buyers should evaluate a target company and the value of socio economic set aside contracts.  The webinar was held on January 20, 2015.

Peter is a member of the Government Contracts Mergers and Acquisitions Group.  He concentrates in corporate transactions and counseling, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.  In this regard, Peter has represented public and private government contractors as buyers and sellers in a wide range of industries, including defense, healthcare, information technology and aerospace.

Damien is co-chair of the Government Contracts Corporate Transactions Group.  In addition to representing clients in all facets of government contracts mergers and acquisitions, he has experience in a wide variety of government contracts matters, including Federal Acquisition Regulation counseling, preparation of subcontracts and teaming agreements, contract disputes and both pre- and post-award bid protests.
