Administrative Proceedings as the "New Normal" for SEC Enforcement: Legal and Practical Concerns

Jenner & Block Partner Larry P. Ellsworth hosted a DC Bar program concerning the SEC’s controversial policy shift toward prosecuting more enforcement cases in the agency's "streamlined" administrative process. A panel of SEC veterans discussed the constitutional, legal, and practical ramifications.  This program was held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Jenner & Block's DC office, 1099 New York Ave., N.W., Suite 900.

Larry is a partner in the firm's Litigation Department and a member of its Securities Litigation and Enforcement and Class Action Practices.  He is a former assistant chief litigation counsel for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Trial Unit.
