“Legal Malpractice Claims and the Young Lawyer: How Claims Arise and Good Habits for Minimizing the Risk,” Chicago Bar Association

Jenner & Block Partner April A. Otterberg spoke at the November 4 meeting of the Chicago Bar Association’s Committee on Attorney Malpractice.  In her program, titled “Legal Malpractice Claims and the Young Lawyer: How Claims Arise and Good Habits for Minimizing the Risk,” April examined the legal malpractice and other risks that can affect lawyers in the early stages of their careers.  April discussed numerous case examples and provided suggestions for reducing the risks.  The presentation was held at the CBA.  

April is a member of the Professional Responsibility and ERISA Litigation Practices. Her professional responsibility practice includes defending lawyers and law firms from pending or threatened legal malpractice and related claims.
