“Protecting Confidential Information,” Exelon’s Power Environmental Summit

Jenner & Block Partner Gabrielle Sigel spoke at Exelon’s recent Power Environmental Summit, its annual meeting of environmental professionals.  Titled “Protecting Confidential Information,” Gay’s presentation provided practical advice to those professionals regarding the importance of protecting confidential information through the use of attorney-client privilege and attorney work product protections.  Exelon’s Power Group are those Exelon operations relating to wind, solar, natural gas, and other renewable energy, distinct from Exelon’s nuclear and utility operations. Gay was the only lawyer selected to present at the Power Group’s annual meeting of environmental professionals.  The summit was held on April 29, 2014, in Chicago.

Gay is co-chair of the Climate and Clean Technology Law Practice and a founding member of the Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practice.  She publishes extensively and is a frequent speaker on climate change, workplace health and safety and hazardous material exposure and remediation issues.
