“Understanding Current Policy Initiatives That Have a Wide-Reaching Impact on Manufacturers: EPA’s IRIS, Administrative Reporting Requirements, and TSCA Reform,” National Forum on Chemical Products Liability and Environmental Litigation

Jenner & Block Partner Steven M. Siros spoke at the American Conference Institute’s fifth national forum on Chemical Products Liability and Environmental Litigation.  Titled “Understanding Current Policy Initiatives That Have a Wide-Reaching Impact on Manufacturers: EPA’s IRIS, Administrative Reporting Requirements, and TSCA Reform,” Steve’s session explored topics including the EPA’s IRIS program, the regulatory aspects of chemicals to bolster defense strategy, release reporting under environmental programs and more.  Steve’s session was held on April 29, 2014, the second day of the two-day conference in Chicago.

Steve is a member of the firm’s Climate and Clean Technology Law and Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practices, as well as the Products Liability Practice.  He focuses primarily on  environmental and toxic tort matters, including complex CERCLA and RCRA issues.  Since 2010, Steve has been recognized by Chambers USA as one of Illinois’ leading environmental lawyers.
