“A Discussion of Heightened Pleading Requirements for Patent Infringement,” Federal Circuit Bar Association

Jenner & Block Partner Bradford P. Lyerla will speak at a Federal Circuit Bar Association webcast that will examine issues surrounding heightened pleading requirements for patent infringement actions. Brad will join other panelists, including Judge Matthew Kennelly of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, offering their insight on questions such as such as whether Congress should set standards for patent infringement complaints or whether that should be left to the courts.  Titled “A Discussion of Heightened Pleading Requirements for Patent Infringement,” the webcast starts at 12:15 p.m. CT on February 21, 2014. 

Brad is the co-chair of the firm’s Patent Litigation and Counseling Practice and a member of the Antitrust and Competition Law Practice and the Trade Secret and Restrictive Covenant Litigation and Counseling Practice. His litigation has involved a wide variety of technologies, including applied mathematics, communications, electrical and software engineering, computing, computer chips, medical devices, chemicals, food science, manufacturing, consumer products, aeronautics and pharmaceuticals.
