“The Future of Environmental Law,” Chicago Bar Association

Jenner & Block Partner E. Lynn Grayson and Associate Allison A. Torrence will participate in a CBA program that will examine the Future of Environmental Law.  Lynn and other panelists will address changing enforcement priorities, challenges to environmental laws and regulations, advancing technology and evolving political climates.  Allison will moderate the session, to be held from 3-6 p.m. on February 25, 2014,  at the firm’s Chicago office, 353 N. Clark St.  The program is hosted by the CBA’s Young Lawyers Section of the Environmental Law Committee, of which Allison is co-chair.  Jenner & Block is hosting a reception immediately following the seminar. 

Lynn is co-chair of the firm’s Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practice and is recognized as one of the country’s leading lawyers in environmental law.  Her national practice involves defending clients in enforcement cases, managing EHS risk concerns, and performing environmental due diligence, which includes a focus on water scarcity.

Allison is a member of the firm’s Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law and Climate and Clean Technology Law Practices and has significant experience in environmental litigation, working on cases involving toxic torts, CERCLA, RCRA,OSHA and the Clean Air Act, among other matters.
