“Top 5 Tips for Successfully Selling Your Government Contracting Business,” Public Contracting Institute

Jenner & Block Partner Peter H. Rosenbaum and Associate Damien Specht will speak at a webinar aimed at helping anyone who wants to sell a government contracting business.  Titled “Top 5 Tips for Successfully Selling Your Government Contracting Business,” their panel will explore structuring the sale, preparing the sale, determining whether the contracts can transfer to a buyer and evaluating advisory teams to ensure success in the sale.  Sponsored by the Public Contracting Institute, the webinar begins at noon EST on November 19, 2013.  CLE credits may be available. 

Peter is a member of Jenner and Block’s Government Contracts Mergers and Acquisitions Group.  He concentrates in corporate transactions and counseling, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.  In this regard, Peter has represented public and private government contractors as buyers and sellers in a wide range of industries, including defense, healthcare, information technology and aerospace.

Damien is co-chair of the Government Contracts Corporate Transactions Group.  In addition to representing clients in all facets of government contracts mergers and acquisitions, he has experience in a wide variety of government contracts matters, including Federal Acquisition Regulation counseling, preparation of subcontracts and teaming agreements, contract disputes and both pre- and post-award bid protests.
