“Challenges of the TARP Program and Impact on Alternative Assets,” Duff & Phelps Seventh Annual Alternative Investments Conference

Jenner & Block Partner Neil M. Barofsky will speak at Duff & Phelps Seventh Annual Alternative Investments Conference on November 14, 2013.  Titled “Challenges of the TARP Program and Impact on Alternative Assets,”  Neil’s session will draw on his experience as the first special inspector general of TARP, the historic $700 billion federal bailout adopted in response to the 2008 financial crisis.  The Conference is a leading forum for in-depth, forward-looking analysis and discussion of the alternative investments industry.  It will be held at the New York Athletic Club, 180 Central Park South, New York. 

Neil is a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement, White Collar Defense and Investigations  and Government Controversies and Public Policy Litigation Practices.  Before serving as the chief watchdog for TARP, Neil was a federal prosecutor in New York.  He is an accomplished trial lawyer and authority on a variety of issues at the intersection of economics, law, business and politics.
