“Rewriting Dodd-Frank,” New York Times’ DealBook Conference

Jenner & Block Partner Neil M. Barofsky will speak at the New York Times’ annual DealBook Conference.  Titled “Rewriting Dodd-Frank,” Neil’s panel will explore the state of financial regulation today and the Dodd-Frank Act, the legislation enacted in response to the late 2000s recession that called for significant changes in the country’s financial regulatory landscape.  According to the Times, the Conference “provides a platform for influential executives, board members, investors and policymakers to discuss the intersection of finance, technology and the corporate sector and influence the global conversation as they look forward to 2014.”  The Conference will be held November 12, 2013, at The TimesCenter, 242 W. 41st St, New York.

Neil is a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement, White Collar Defense and Investigations and Government Controversies and Public Policy Litigation Practices.  A former federal prosecutor, he served as the chief watchdog of the historic $700 billion federal bailout adopted in response to the 2008 financial crisis.
