Jenner & Block Partner Reena R. Bajowala will speak at the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) Annual Convention in Denver on September 5.  Titled “Class Action or Bust: Limits on Class Actions in Employment Discrimination,” Reena’s session will feature an interactive discussion on the future of class actions after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decisions in Wal-Martv. Dukes,Comcast v. Behrend and Standard Fire Insurance v. Knowles.  Reena will discuss the practical application of these decisions for defense counsel in challenging class pleading standards and jurisdiction under the Class Action Fairness Act.  The convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency Denver from September 4-7, 2013. 

Reena is a partner in the Complex Commercial Litigation Practice and a member of the Class Action and ERISA Litigation Groups.  She regularly provides legal industry analysis of current issues relating to her practice in publications and at speaking engagements, particularly those involving ERISA and class actions.
