Jenner & Block Partner Brent Caslin was a panelist at the Second Annual International Arbitration Conference, an event that serves as a platform for exchange of thought-provoking ideas in arbitration in the Pacific Rim.  Brent's panel, titled “10 Questions About Arbitrating in Asia," focused on Asian venues by addressing key issues that parties and their counsel should consider when negotiating a place for resolving disputes.  The panel also explored questions of who arbitrates (or should arbitrate) in Asia; what are the major institutions operating in Asia and what can be expected from them; what is the status of the New York Convention; and whether there is a modern arbitration law.  Presented by the Los Angeles County Bar Association, International Center for Dispute Resolution and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the conference was held May 9-10 in Los Angeles.

Brent is a litigator who manages commercial and intellectual property disputes in the Western United States and around the Pacific Rim.
