Jenner & Block Partner Terri L. Mascherin and Associate April A. Otterberg spoke at a Practising Law Institute seminar on May 1 in Chicago.  Titled “Ethics for Litigators 2013,” the session examined and offered practical solutions to important ethics issues arising in everyday litigation practice.  Terri chaired the program and helped plan the event over several months, and she served as a panelist for a discussion on professional responsibility issues related to clients’ access to their lawyers’ files.  April moderated a panel session at the event titled “Defending Against Joint Defense Agreement Pitfalls” and authored written materials analyzing ethical issues related to common interest agreements.
