Jenner & Block Partner Carter H. Klein participated in two events during the ABA’s Spring Business Law Section meeting. On April 4, he gave a presentation to the Letter of Credit Subcommittee meeting that focused on recent letter of credit case law developments. On April 6, as chair of the Uniform Commercial Code Payments Subcommittee, he moderated a two-hour CLE program titled “The Alphabet Soup of Electronic Transfer of Funds: CHIPS, NACHA, ECCHO, Fedwire, the FFIEC and the UCC - Payment Technology Developments, FFIEC Guidelines on Security Procedures and the Allocation of Losses from Commercial Payments Fraud (Keylogging, Phishing, Hacking, etc).” The section meeting was held from April 4-6 in Washington, D.C.
Carter is a member of the Corporate, Corporate Finance and Bankruptcy, Workout and Corporate Reorganization practices.
