“New Consideration in Copyright,” Global Challenges to Communications Law and Policy in an Age of Austerity Symposium

Jenner & Block Partner David R. Singer will be a panelist at the Global Challenges to Communications Law and Policy in an Age of Austerity Symposium on April 4.  David’s session is entitled “New Consideration in Copyright”and will focus mainly on Fox’s ongoing lawsuit against Dish Network over Dish’s “AutoHop” ad-skipping service.  Jeff Blum, vice president and associate general counsel for Dish Network, will also be on the panel, and the discussion will be moderated by Keith Grossman of WIRED magazine.  Sponsored by the Catholic University of America and Columbus School of Law's CommLaw Conspectus/Institute for Communications Law Studies, the symposium will be held at the Wiley Rein Conference Center, 1776 K Street NW, Washington, DC. 

David  is a member of the Content, Media and Entertainment Practice.  His primary focus is entertainment and media litigation.  David is part of the Jenner & Block team representing Fox Broadcasting Company, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. and Fox Television Holdings, Inc. in their copyright infringement and breach of contract lawsuit against Dish Network.
