“Recent Developments in Employee Benefits,” Chicago Bar Association

Jenner & Block Partner Reena R. Bajowala and Associate Joshua Rafsky will participate in a Chicago Bar Association seminar titled “Recent Developments in Employee Benefits.”  Mr. Rafsky will help moderate the session while Ms. Bajowala will speak on “What Are the Cases that Might Impact My Clients?” The seminar will coverissues that are either making news in the benefits community or have already been decided and deserve additional explanation and discussion.  The seminar will be held March 12 from 2-5 p.m. at the CBA Headquarters, 321 S. Plymouth Ct., Chicago. MCLE credit is available.   

Ms. Bajowala is a partner in the Firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice and a member of the Class Action and ERISA Litigation Groups.  She regularly provides legal industry analysis of current issues relating to her practice in publications and at speaking engagements, particularly those involving ERISA and class actions.

Mr. Rafsky is a member of the Firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice and is vice chair of the CBA Employee Benefits Committee.   He has experience in a variety of employee benefits and executive compensation matters ranging from the benefits aspects of corporate transactions to Section 409A compliance to ERISA fiduciary obligations.
