Jenner & Block Partner Richard F. Ziegler spoke at Northwestern School of Law’s 51st annual Corporate Counsel Institute.  Mr. Ziegler was a panelist in a session titled “International Dispute Resolution”; topics included, among others, finding the right lawyer in foreign countries and challenges in international commercial arbitrations. The moderator of his session was John L. Howard, senior vice president and general counsel of W.W. Grainger, Inc., a Firm client. The conference, aimed at providing relevant updates and discussions on legal issues that affect business, was held on Oct. 4 and 5 at Northwestern’s Wieboldt Hall, Room 147, 339 East Chicago Ave., Chicago.

Mr. Ziegler is Managing Partner of the Firm's New York office and Co-Chair of the Firm's International Arbitration Practice; he also serves on the Firm's Management Committee.  A former general counsel of a Fortune 100 company, former federal prosecutor and an active civil litigator and counselor, Mr. Ziegler focuses on complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and corporate governance and compliance matters.
