Jenner & Block Partner Steven M. Siros was invited to participate in “Practice Tracks,” an event sponsored by the Chicago Area Law School Consortium (CALSC) and Chicago Bar Association, on Thursday, February 21.  The purpose of the program is to provide information to law school students about practicing in various areas of law.  Mr. Siros will be addressing environmental law issues with students in a “table talk” format, including making recommendations for coursework, and job hints.  The event will take place from 5-6:30 p.m., at the Chicago Bar Association, 321 S. Plymouth Court.  CALSC consists of the six Chicago area law schools (Chicago-Kent, DePaul, John Marshall, Loyola, Northwestern, and the University of Chicago) as well as five law schools from the surrounding area (Northern Illinois University, Notre Dame, Southern Illinois University, University of Illinois, and Valparaiso).

Mr. Siros is a member of the Firm’s Climate and Clean Technology Law and Envlitironmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practices, as well as the Insurance Litigation and Counseling and Products Liability Practices.  He focuses his practice primarily on environmental and toxic tort matters, including complex CERCLA and RCRA issues.  Since 2010, Mr. Siros has been recognized by Chambers USA as one of Illinois’ leading environmental lawyers.
