“The Intellectual Property 2012 Yearbook: Emerging Technology, New Case Law and Regulatory Highlights,” LexisNexis Webinar

Jenner & Block Partners Kenneth L. Doroshow and Gianni P. Servodidio conducted a LexisNexis Webinar entitled “The Intellectual Property 2012 Yearbook: Emerging Technology, New Case Law and Regulatory Highlights,” on November 7, 2012.  They examined significant litigation and legislation as well as technological advancements that took place in 2012 and discussed what may be on the horizon in 2013.  Topics addressed included the “first sale” doctrine, video game litigation, DMCA safe harbors, protection of color marks, aesthetic functionality and the interplay between the Lanham Act and the First Amendment.  The webinar was attended by more than 115 participants.
 

Mr. Doroshow is a member of Jenner & Block’s Content, Media and Entertainment and Privacy and Information Governance Practices.  He is an experienced litigator and counselor with an extensive background in the major entertainment sectors, focusing on matters involving new media and new technologies.  He regularly advises clients on content protection and enforcement strategies and provides general counseling and representation in a broad variety of commercial, regulatory and intellectual property disputes, especially those involving digital and online entertainment.
