Jenner & Block Partner Carter H. Klein participated in the annual Letter of Credit Law Summit in New York on October 25-26, 2012. Major bank LC personnel and their lawyers attend the summit, sponsored by the Institute of International Banking Law & Practice. Mr. Klein chaired or was a member of four panels: “ISP Model Confirmation Forms”; “Replacing Independent Undertakings”; “Misalignment between Counter-Guarantee Letters of Credit and Local Bank Guarantees”; and “Claims of Surety Applicants against Beneficiaries under Suretyship Law.”
Mr. Klein is a member of the Firm’s Corporate, Corporate Finance and Bankruptcy, Workout and Corporate Reorganization practices.
