Jenner & Block Of Counsel Stephen H. Armstrong will moderate a panel called “Where Do All the Surplus Properties Go?” at The Big Deal: Rebuilding Your Brownfield Network conference. The two-day event is sponsored by the National Brownfield Association, the leading non-profit, member-based organization dedicated to promoting the redevelopment of Brownfields in a sustainable manner. Mr. Armstrong’s session will feature representatives from a range of heavy industries discussing issues related to owning, managing, and selling environmentally impaired surplus properties. Held at the Jenner & Block Conference Center, 353 N. Clark St, Chicago, the conference starts at 1 p.m. on October 3 and ends at noon on October 4. Mr. Armstrong’s session is from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30am.

Mr. Armstrong is a member of the Firm’s Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law and Climate and Clean Technology Law Practices.  He speaks frequently on environmental topics, including liability issues associated with property transactions. He is President of the Illinois Chapter of the National Brownfield Association and serves on the NBA’s Board of Directors.
