The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin Recognizes Partner Sara Tonnies Horton Among “40 Under Forty”

Jenner & Block Partner Sara Tonnies Horton is on the list of The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s 40 best lawyers under age 40 practicing in Illinois.  This marks the 20th anniversary of the recognition, which receives more than 1,000 submissions each year.  The profile on Ms. Horton features quotes from firm clients including Aon, Scientific Games Corp. and Henry Crown & Co.  They comment on her impressive work ethic and practice in patent law, intellectual property and life sciences, as well as Ms. Horton’s technical and communication skills during trial.  “She has a deep understanding of how to organize, manage and present complicated factual and legal concepts in a trial setting,” said Deputy General Counsel for Univar, Noelle Perkins.  “She is unique in that she is a true trial lawyer with real trial experience.”

Ms. Horton concentrates in complex civil litigation, focusing on patent and technology-related litigation.  Ms. Horton has represented clients in complex disputes involving a variety of technologies including pharmaceuticals, polymers, packaging, actuarial science and food processing.  She has tried more than 10 cases and has significant courtroom experience.
