Partner Carissa Coze Honored among The Recorder’s “Women Leaders in Tech Law”

The Recorder honored Jenner & Block Partner Carissa Coze for her work on groundbreaking sports and media deals as part of the publication’s “California Leaders in Tech Law” awards.  The awards “celebrate the achievements of lawyers and companies leading technology, innovation and the profession as a whole,” The Recorder says.  In a profile, reflecting on her work over the last year, Ms. Coze tells The Recorder that she is most proud of advising clients who, while undergoing significant corporate changes, returned to the firm for representation on important transactions.  “Having their trust and confidence is immensely rewarding,” she says.  Outside of her practice, she is proud of chairing a committee that recently raised a record $1 million for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA).  “Playing a role in raising these funds to continue LAFLA’s ability to provide access to justice for some of the most vulnerable members of our community was deeply gratifying,” she says.
