Partner Craig C. Martin, chair of Jenner & Block’s Litigation Department, is named among the Irish Legal 100.  The recognition program was launched in 2008 by the Irish Voice newspaper in New York.  An annual compilation of the most distinguished legal professionals in the United States, the selectees share one common bond: pride in their Irish roots.  Mr. Martin is noted for leading the firm’s 400-lawyer Litigation Department, which, the editors observe, “is widely recognized as a litigation powerhouse.”  The editorial highlights Mr. Martin’s role representing clients in trials and appeals in state and federal courts, counseling boards and board committees on sensitive and complicated matters, and conducting board and management-driven investigations.  His awards – including his inclusion in Chicago magazine’s “Power 100” and Crain’s Chicago Business’ “Who’s Who in Chicago”—are noted.  The editorial also features his civic involvement, such as serving as a member of the board of the Crown Family Philanthropies since 2015.  Mr. Martin traces his Irish roots to Co. Kilkenny.
