Partner Reena R. Bajowala is among only 18 lawyers nationwide to be recognized as a “2017 Best Lawyer Under 40 (BU40 Award)” by The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). The BU40 Award recognizes talented individuals in the Asian Pacific American legal community who are under the age of 40 and have achieved prominence and distinction in their respective fields – be it the practice of law, academia, business, civic and charitable affairs, the judiciary or politics – and who have demonstrated a strong commitment to Asian Pacific American civic or community affairs. The BU40 Award will be presented to the honorees on November 2, 2017, during the 2017 NAPABA Convention in Washington, DC.
Ms. Bajowala is regarded as a leader in her field. In 2015, she accepted the POW! Award from Womenetics, which celebrates women who demonstrate “game changing leadership” in business and the Chicago community. In 2014, she received the "Illinois Most Powerful & Influential Woman Award" from the Illinois Diversity Council. Ms. Bajowala is a 2013 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).
