Jenner & Block Partner Katya Jestin is named in the New York Law Journal’s 2017 list of “Distinguished Leaders.” This award recognizes lawyers in leadership roles who achieved impressive results in the past year. She is among only 22 lawyers on the list.
Ms. Jestin is noted for her successful work in a variety of matters, including her participation on the team representing United Airlines in a high-profile matter that was resolved through a non-prosecution agreement; her participation on the team representing a mortgage lender in a FIRREA RMBS investigation; representing a private company in a multi-regulatory probe of conduct in the United States and overseas; and her participation on the team representing a multi-national corporation in a high-stakes False Claims Act investigation.
Ms. Jestin is co-chair of firm’s Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice. Her extensive fact-finding and litigation experience guides private-sector clients facing criminal, regulatory and congressional investigations in some of the highest-profile matters of the day. She also conducts sensitive internal investigations for corporate clients and advises on FCPA and other issues.
