Tamara T. McClatchey is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department. She practices in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities law.
Ms. McClatchey received her B.A., summa cum laude, from North Park University in 1992 and her M.A. (with a concentration in policy and legislation) from The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration in 2002. In 2011, she received her J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, where she served as a student attorney in the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship and as academic chair for the Black Law Students Association.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Ms. McClatchey worked at AT&T as an intern in the corporation’s legal department. She has also worked at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, as director of Program Operations, and for Association House of Chicago, as staff development coordinator. Ms. McClatchey is currently a member of the Association House of Chicago Auxiliary Board of Young Professionals, through which she served as chair of the 2011 art auction charity event benefiting the organization’s children’s programs. She is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
