Molly Powers’ practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, antitrust and class action law.

Ms. Powers has experience in a variety of civil litigation matters, including breach of contract, insurance coverage, and real estate disputes, and maintains an active practice assisting clients with a wide range of sensitive internal investigations.  She has represented clients in federal and state court and has a busy pro bono practice representing clients in civil and criminal matters.   Ms. Powers is also a member of the firm’s Japan Practice Group and works closely with a number of the firm’s Japanese clients.  

Ms. Powers received her B.A. in 2003 from the University of Michigan.  She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2010 from DePaul University College of Law where she was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Ms. Powers worked in private clients portfolio management for Goodbody Stockbrokers in Dublin, Ireland, before attending law school.  Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Ms. Powers interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois and was a member of the legal team for the Chicago 2016 Olympic and Paralympic bid.  Ms. Powers is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
