Chelsea L. Warren has experience in a variety of complex commercial matters, including accounting and securities fraud litigation, consumer credit disputes, and SEC, FDIC and other federal agency investigations.
A member of the Firm’s Litigation Department, she was an integral part of the team that successfully represented 1-800 CONTACTS in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in a precedent-setting FACTA case. She is also involved in defending bank directors against class action lawsuits related to the bank’s lending practices.
Ms. Warren spends significant time representing pro bono clients in federal civil cases. She also serves on the Judicial Appointments Committee of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago. Previously, she worked for the University of Michigan General Clinic, where she negotiated a plea deal for a client charged with criminal violations and helped another client obtain a waiver of deportation.
