Masters Named to Benchmark’s List of Top 250 Women Litigators in America

Partner Lorelie S. Masters is named among the 250 top women litigators in the country in the inaugural edition of Benchmark’s Top 250 Women in Litigation: The Definitive Guide to America’s Leading Women Litigators and Firms.  She was selected from the D.C. roster of litigation stars for the 2012 edition of the peer-reviewed parent publication Benchmark Litigation. She “gains plaudits from peers for her insurance litigation on behalf of policyholders” as well as for being highly active in bar associations.

Ms. Masters is a member of the Firm’s Insurance Litigation and Counseling Practice. Chambers & Partners USA has named her one of the country’s leading insurance law attorneys since 2005. In 2010, Law360 identified her as one of the “10 Most Admired Insurance Attorneys.” Washington DC Super Lawyers consistently recognizes her for insurance coverage litigation as does The Best Lawyers in America for insurance law. In 2011, the National Law Journal honored her in its “Champions and Visionaries” award series for her work on voting rights and women’s rights issues, saying she “upheld the profession’s core values through public service, pro bono effort and advocacy for civil liberties.”
