Tracy E. Lyerly focuses her practice on estate planning, tax planning, closely held business planning, and estate and trust administration.
Ms. Lyerly is a member of the Firm’s Private Client Practice, as well as the Firm’s Tax Practice and Trust & Estate Litigation group. She has significant experience drafting and structuring complex estate plans to transfer wealth and closely-held business interests to subsequent generations, both in a tax-efficient manner and consistent with a client’s overall estate planning objectives. She also has experience drafting premarital agreements, representing individuals and fiduciaries in probate matters, and structuring and administering corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and private foundations.
Ms. Lyerly was awarded The Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association Milton H. Gray Award for Outstanding Project Leadership in 2011, as a co-chair of the Wills for Heroes Committee, and she was recognized by Illinois Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in 2012. She continues to be active in the Chicago Bar Association, and she serves the Firm as a member of the Hiring and Pro Bono Committees.
